StealLifeFromMonsters
Grab monsters and drain their health to heal yourself, using the player health transfer cadence. Fully configurable. Only Host, clients don't need it.
Only the host needs to have this mod installed — other players see the effects automatically without installing anything.
Features
- Monster Life Drain: Grab any active monster and hold the grab interaction to drain its life force directly into your own health pool.
- Natural Transfer Cadence: Rhythmic health transfer pulses directly into your health pool (1.5 seconds by default).
- Consistent Monster Damage & Full Health Siphon: Monsters always receive the full drain damage per tick regardless of your current HP. If your health is already full, you can continue draining to damage the monster without gaining excess HP (unless Overheal is enabled).
- Native Audiovisual Feedback: Triggers full visual screen pulse and audio heartbeat cues on every healing tick.
- Optional Full Health Money Conversion: When you are at 100% health, convert excess stolen monster health into immediate run currency.
- Host-Only Multiplayer: Only the host needs to install the mod. Health changes and damage synchronize across all connected players automatically.
- Fully Configurable: Switch between percentage-based or fixed HP drain, adjust tick rates, and customize health caps and economy options.
Requirements
- BepInEx Pack for R.E.P.O.
Installation
- Install the latest BepInEx Pack.
- Place StealLifeFromMonsters.dll into your BepInEx/plugins folder (or install via r2modman Mod Manager).
- Launch the game once — the configuration file will be generated automatically inside BepInEx/config.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
