SoloSeek
Hide and seek, tag and freeze tag for R.E.P.O. Run by the host, so players without the mod can still play. Controlled from SoloHost's menu.
About this mod Author’s original text
SoloSeek
Three party games for R.E.P.O.: hide and seek, tag, and freeze tag.
Who needs it
The host. Every rule is applied by the host to state the host already owns, so a player without
the mod simply finds themselves in a game of hide and seek. The host also needs SoloHost, whose
menu runs it — any version; SoloHost checks what this copy of SoloSeek can do and only shows those
buttons. Guests never need SoloHost, so it is not a hard dependency.
Everyone running SoloSeek sees the same readout across the top — phase, timer, who is left — and the
same announcements, because the host sends them as the round goes.
What players without it miss is the text and the colour: phase announcements, the timer, and hunters
shown in red are drawn by each player's own copy, because the game has no networked way to put them
on someone else's screen.
The games
Hide and seek — hiders scatter and a seeker catches one by grabbing them (or, if you prefer, by
shooting them). Seekers get the map's player finder and extra health. Caught players are out, or join
the hunt. The last survivor is told they are last, and wins by reaching the truck.
Tag — the hunter tags you by grabbing you. You drop for a few seconds, then get up as the hunter,
while whoever tagged you is safe from being tagged straight back. Ten second headstart, five minute
round, all configurable.
Freeze tag — a hunter grabbing you freezes you where you stand until a team mate grabs you free.
A hunter cannot free anybody. Hunters win when everyone is frozen at once.
Controls
No keybinds. Everything is driven from SoloHost's menu, on the Games tab.
Notes
Nobody can be hurt during a round, so a fall or a stray shot cannot take somebody out of it — the
only deaths are the deliberate ones that follow being caught. Monsters are cleared for the round and
come back afterwards, and switching the games off puts the level back the way it was.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
