REPO Werewolf / REPO Werewolf

English

REPO Werewolf turns a normal R.E.P.O. run into a social deduction game. It takes some ideas from Among Us, but valuables and the extraction quota still decide the match.

Each player gets a hidden role on either the villager team or the werewolf team. Villagers still have to finish the extractions and leave in the truck. Werewolves have to stop them without giving themselves away. Bodies can be reported, the truck has an emergency meeting button, and suspected werewolves can be voted out. PvP is enabled too, and melee weapons can kill other players.

The UI is available in English and Japanese. English is selected automatically on a fresh install.

What's included

  • A scenario-based tutorial where you can learn how to play on your own
  • Five roles: Villager, Shaman, Werewolf, Black Cat, and Bomber
  • Win conditions tied directly to valuable damage and extraction progress
  • A "peaceful village" mixed in at a configurable chance, where nobody is on the werewolf team
  • Body reports, emergency meetings, discussion, voting, and executions handled inside the game
  • After some meetings, survivors are shuffled and sent back out in random groups
  • Participant numbers for public lobbies, so "No. 3 looks suspicious" is enough to identify someone
  • A valuable loss gauge and a meeting map with a coordinate grid
  • Settings for the stage, level, starting items, player upgrades, the truck's starting charge, and other match rules
  • A lobby check for room settings and differences between players' mod lists
  • A 29-page manual explaining all of the rules and roles, available at any time
  • Meeting chat, result screen chat, and a replay that can be saved and watched in a browser

Try the tutorial solo

Select REPO Werewolf Tutorial in the bottom-right corner of the title screen for a quick, hands-on introduction that you can play alone with bots.

  • Play as a Villager and experience discussion through the meeting chat log, voting, the ballot reveal, and the match results
  • Play as a Werewolf, destroy valuables around the map, unlock perks, and win by reaching value checkmate
  • Find a body hidden somewhere on the map, report it, call a meeting, and close in on the Werewolf
  • Use the ability to turn another player into a bomb and see how the other players piece together what happened.

The tutorial runs as a self-contained round and does not modify your regular save data.

Meetings and voting

Report a body or use the red button in the truck to call a meeting. The meeting screen shows deaths and changes to valuables since the last meeting. Players can open the full map, compare what they know, and vote without leaving the game.

Room settings and mod checks

Guests can see the host's room settings in the lobby. The mod also compares each player's mod list with the host's and flags missing mods, extra mods, version mismatches, or different file contents before the match starts.

Roles

  • Villager: Plays much like regular R.E.P.O. Collect valuables, finish extractions, and watch for anything that gives a werewolf away
  • Shaman: Can stand still to sense unreported bodies and their direction, but is an easy target while doing it
  • Werewolf: Gains perks such as infinite stamina and extra jumps when valuables are damaged. The beacon ability calls enemies to a chosen location
  • Black Cat: Is on the werewolf team, although the Black Cat and the werewolves do not initially know one another. Depending on the room settings, an executed Black Cat can take one of their voters with them
  • Bomber: Stays near another player long enough to plant a bomb on them, then detonates it remotely

Playing over text chat

Voice chat is optional. Messages sent during a meeting stay in the meeting log, and new messages play a sound and mark the log as unread. There is another chat on the result screen, where messages from dead players are visible to everyone.

Match replay

The Replay button on the result screen opens a top-down view of the match …

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
