Mimic
Mimic is a Skinwalker (Lethal Company Mod) inspired mod for R.E.P.O that allows the creatures of the game to sound like you or your friends!
How it works:
This mod will record you and your friend's voices between an interval (30 - 120 seconds by default) and save the audio into a pool of clips. After a clip has been saved, a random clip from the pool will be played by each enemy on the current level.
Planned Additions:
- Caching audio in memory (no more writing files)
- Optimizations!
Changelog
- 1.1.6: Configuration file support with modded enemies, toggle for hearing your own voice, sampling rate option (experimental).
- 1.1.5: Volume slider, config adjustments, better audio.
- 1.1.4: Audio adjustments (No more popping when voice clips are played!)
- 1.1.3: Added the ability to select which enemies can mimic voices in the configuration file.
- 1.1.2: Crash fixes!
- 1.1.1: Fixed a bug where some users voices would never get recorded.
- 1.1.0: Overhaul of recording/playing clips + removal of third party dependencies + bug fixes.
- 1.0.5: Performance improvements + bug fixes.
- 1.0.4: Config file fixes.
- 1.0.3: Added basic speech detection + configuration file (changing the settings drastically could have unknown effects).
- 1.0.2: File structure fixes.
- 1.0.1: Fixed bugs and alleviated lag when sending audio to clients.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
