About this mod Author’s original text
Gun Sniper Rifle Config
A config add-on for Gun Sniper Rifle that makes several weapon stats configurable without touching the original mod.
All values are read from a standard BepInEx config file. This mod does not modify the original DLL — it patches values at runtime via Harmony reflection.
Requirements
- BepInExPack (5.4.2100+)
- Gun Sniper Rifle (0.6.0)
Config
The config file is generated automatically on first launch at:
BepInEx/config/alpha.TheSniperRifleConfig.cfg
| Setting | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| HipDamage | 250 | Damage when NOT zoomed |
| ZoomDamage | 355 | Damage when zoomed |
| ZoomMagnification | 7 | Default zoom magnification (FOV = 70 / magnification, so 7 ≈ 10° FOV, 14 ≈ 5°) |
| ZoomStep | 0.1 | Zoom tuning step per scroll tick, in FOV degrees |
| LaserDrainRate | 0.1 | Battery drained per frame while the laser dot is on |
| ShootCooldown | 5 | Cooldown between shots (reload/bolt-cycle time) |
Changes require a game restart.
Multiplayer / host vs client
- ShootCooldown, HipDamage, ZoomDamage, LaserDrainRate are host-authoritative: only the host's values take effect, and they apply to the whole lobby.
- ZoomMagnification and ZoomStep are local: each player can set their own scope feel independently.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
