EnemyHealthBar
Adds Configurable Health Bars For All Enemies
About this mod Author’s original text
Enemy Health Bar
Enemy health bars and floating damage numbers for R.E.P.O.
Features
- Shows a world-space health bar above enemies after they take damage.
- Optional health text with current/max HP.
- Floating damage numbers with configurable colors, size, lifetime, and damage tiers.
- Multiplayer-friendly display based on enemy damage events.
- Automatic height detection so bars follow enemies of different sizes.
- Optional always-visible mode.
Multiplayer
Health bars are updated from the game's enemy damage events. On the host or in singleplayer, the bar uses the current enemy HP value directly. On clients, the mod applies a local damage-display fallback so the UI still reacts immediately when damage RPCs arrive.
Config
The config file is generated by BepInEx after the first launch:
BepInEx/config/DarkSpider90.EnemyHealthBar.cfg
Main options:
- Enable or disable health bars.
- Enable or disable floating damage text.
- Show current HP only, or current/max HP.
- Adjust bar size, scale, height, fade distance, and hide delay.
- Customize bar, text, background, medium damage, and critical damage colors.
Install
Install with a mod manager, or copy EnemyHealthBar.dll into your R.E.P.O. BepInEx plugins folder.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
