A client-side R.E.P.O. mod that displays the current number of spawned enemies in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Features
- Shows enemy names and counts
- Displays the overlay in the bottom-right corner
- No background box
- Hidden in menu, lobby, and shop scenes
- Toggle overlay with F8
- Debug enemy component output with F9
Controls
- F8: Toggle overlay
- F9: Dump enemy-like component types to the BepInEx log
Notes
This mod only displays enemies that currently exist in the loaded scene.
It does not show every enemy that can possibly spawn on the current level.
Enemy names are normalized to commonly used R.E.P.O. monster names where possible.
Configuration
After launching the game once, a config file will be generated at:
BepInEx/config/lata.repo.enemycountoverlay.cfg
You can change font size, position, scan interval, and detection settings there.
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
