Custom Enemy Location
Adds enemy icons to the in-game map in R.E.P.O., letting you track enemy positions in real time.
Enemy icons use a circular map sprite, default to purple, and scale by enemy type so larger threats stand out more clearly.
Features
- Shows circular enemy icons on the map
- Configurable icon color with a hex code
- Scales icon size based on enemy type
- Hides dead or inactive enemies from the map
Configuration
The config is created after launching the game once with the mod installed:
BepInEx\config\com.ugleh.repo.customenemylocation.cfg
Available settings:
- Enable Enemy Icons: turns enemy map icons on or off
- Enemy Icon Color (Hex): icon color, default #8000FF
- Scan Interval Seconds: how often the mod checks for enemies
- Hide Dead Enemies: hides icons for dead enemies
- Only Track Spawned Enemies: avoids showing dormant enemies before they spawn
Example color values:
- Purple: #8000FF
- Red: #FF0000
- Orange: #FF8800
- Cyan: #00FFFF
Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
