Welcome to Baka-san's WACK RNG modpack. A different experience that utilizes the modding community's best mods to change R.E.P.O.'s gameplay loop into something familiar, but different.

The Taxman does not possess infinite patience, so he has given you a limited amount of time to complete your objective of repossessing valuables.

• THANK YOU EVERYONE for installing this silly pack! Now at over 3k downloads! And still updating strong, but going to see if we can weather the new update soon! Portion of the important mods don't seem compatible with the beta branch, but I have not personally tested it. I have only focused on the latest official release and will continue to, for stabiity reasons!
• This modpack is currently untested for the beta branch. Play at your own risk!
• Lowered the shop multipler to 1.25x its normal price, which means you have more room to play around. Overall, less restrictions because you have more options to spend your money on! Will keep it here for now, but feel free to change it to your liking.

0️⃣ Core Principles

Baka-san's WACK RNG contains 3 key differences that change the way you play. Major changes include:

• ❌ Removing all vanilla upgrades from the shop, and are now acquired throughout the levels. However, the Taxman is not so cruel. Every successful round results in 1 additional upgrade for that run. For every run attempt, you will get one permanent upgrade to take with you in the next run. Interest!
• 🛒 Pure item shop! With less money spent on upgrades, shops are now adjusted accordingly (currently 2x its vanilla price). Money is still important!
• ⏰ Time IS money. The taxman doesn't like wasting either, so you'll have to go through the levels under time pressure!

It is imperative to play on the same save file at all times when using this modpack for maximum enjoyment and consistency.

1️⃣ Mod Details - Foundational

The following mods make this unique loop possible:

• Redfops' UpgradeEveryRound implements the ability to choose one upgrade (vanilla or custom) per round, giving you a better chance to fight back against the monsters that lurk within. Keep in mind that these upgrades stick around so long as you are alive, and these temporary upgrades will not persist between runs!
• Einhornyordle's Repo Leveling lets you choose one vanilla upgrade to keep with you permanently once your run ends. It gets easier and easier, but more upgrades demand more runs, and more success...
• Cronchy's DeathHeadHopper gives you the ability to hop around after death. In co-op, your death will be weighed against time itself. So even in this reduced state, you better make yourself useful!
• itsUndefined's Shop Items Spawn in Level enables shop items to spawn every level, with our customizability tailored to almost-equal weight to every item available. As of its latest version, item upgrades and drones (both modded and vanilla) are the only items enabled to spawn.
• With the previous mod handling item upgrade spawns, a combination of the mods below help change the logic of the shop itself.

• Dj_Haski's AdvanceMyShop
• Swaggies' TimeAttack enables a time limit tied to each level. Each successful extraction extends the timer, and bonus money/time for faster extractions.
• TheRavenNest's UnlimitedOrbs removes the cap for the maximum amount of monster orbs you can obtain from fighting back. It only makes sense that with the limitation of time, enabling a different style of play can help contribute to extending time and succeeding in successful extractions.
• Enchanted_Games' ExploitFix will be used as a temporary fix for the current exploits of the game. No more naughty naughty! (Do
