AutoStandIfRun
Stand up from toggle crouch by pressing sprint. Uses your in-game sprint binding and keeps you crouched if an obstacle prevents standing.

AutoStandIfRun
Stand up from toggle crouch by pressing sprint.
A small client-side quality-of-life mod for R.E.P.O. Press your sprint button to get up and start moving, without having to toggle crouch off first.
How it works
- On clear ground: Press sprint to leave toggle crouch. Once you have stood up, releasing sprint will not make you crouch again.
- Under a low ceiling: If you cannot stand, stop sprinting to remain crouched.
- During a slide: The mod leaves your slide alone.
- Simultaneous crouch and sprint: Crouch takes priority.
The mod uses your in-game sprint binding, including remapped controls. It respects blocked movement input, such as menus and chat, and cancels pending stand requests when you lose focus or change levels.
Controls and settings
Use toggle crouch in the game's control settings. Hold-to-crouch keeps the game's normal behavior.
There are no extra keybinds or mod settings to configure. Sprint hold and sprint toggle are handled through the game's controls.
Installation
With a mod manager
Install AutoStandIfRun in your R.E.P.O. profile Mod Manager or r2modman, then launch the game through that profile. The required BepInEx package is installed as a dependency.
Manually
- Install BepInExPack for R.E.P.O.
- Copy the archive's BepInEx folder into the game directory containing REPO.exe.
- Launch the game.
When updating manually, replace your previous AutoStandIfRun DLL instead of keeping two copies.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
