\# Assisted Aim

Auxiliary aiming module - Automatically aim at the target when the enemy comes within 10 meters, and release the mouse immediately when out of range, without affecting normal operations.

Version: 0.1.0

\## ✨ Function

\- When an enemy enters the \\10 meter\\ range, automatically aim the camera at the nearest enemy

\- Automatically release the mouse beyond 10 meters, completely controlled manually by the player

\-The locking angle can be customized (default 180°, 1°\~360°)

\-Supports pressing the key to switch self-aim on and off at any time (default P key)

\- turned off by default, needs to be enabled manually

\## 🎯 Aiming logic

\- \\Aiming distance\\: fixed 10 meters (not configurable)

\- \\Aiming angle\\: Default 180° (can be adjusted in configuration 1\~360)

\- \\Target Selection\\: Among the enemies within 10 meters and within the angle range, select the closest

\- \\Mouse release\\: When the target is beyond 10 meters, dead or manually disabled, the mouse is released immediately and the player can freely rotate the perspective

\## ⚠️ Notes

\- \\Close by default\\: After first installation, you need to change EnableAim to true in the configuration file for it to take effect.

\- \\Usage Scenario\\: Suitable for close combat or indoor combat scenarios. At long distances, it is entirely up to the player to manually aim.

\-The aiming distance is fixed at 10 meters. This is the design intention and cannot be adjusted.

\## ⚙️ Configuration

Configuration file location: BepInEx/config/cnxc.assistedaim.cfg

| Configuration items | Default value | Description |

\## Install

1\. Make sure \BepInExPack is installed

2\. Place AssistedAim.dll into the BepInEx/plugins folder

3\. Start the game and the module will automatically generate a configuration file.

4\. Edit BepInEx/config/cnxc.assistedaim.cfg and set EnableAim to true

\## ❓ FAQ

\\Q: Why is the locking distance fixed at 10 meters and cannot be changed? \\

A: This is the author's design intention - self-aim only takes effect within the melee range, and the player must manually aim at long distances to ensure game balance and operational feel.

\\Q: There is no response after pressing the power button? \\

A: Please confirm that EnableAim = true in the configuration file, otherwise the switch key cannot enable auxiliary aiming.

\\Q: Is there a delay in mouse movement after aiming assist is turned on? \\

A: Mouse input will be forced to zero when locked, this is normal behavior. It will be released automatically after the target is 10 meters away.

\\Q: How to confirm whether the assisted aiming is effective? \\

A: Set DebugLog to true, and the console will output the current status (target name, distance, angle) every 5 seconds.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin

  1. The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
  2. Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
  3. Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
  4. Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.

Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
