Instant Tumble Exit
Overview
Instant Tumble Exit is a BepInEx mod for REPO that modifies Tumble behavior for the local player only.
The player can still enter Tumble normally, be launched, collide, and interact exactly as intended by the game. The only behavioral change is that Tumble can be exited immediately, without the usual forced delay.
Features
- Instant Tumble exit for the local player
- Tumble mechanics, physics, and impacts remain unchanged
- Does not affect other players
Scope & Behavior
- Applies only to the local player
- Works in both singleplayer and multiplayer sessions
- Does not alter enemy logic or world physics
- Safe to use with existing saves
How It Works
REPO already tracks whether Tumble can be exited using internal timers and override flags. This mod ensures those checks never prevent the local player from exiting Tumble once it has started, while leaving all other Tumble logic intact.
Installation
- Install BepInEx for REPO
- Place the mod DLL into:
BepInEx/plugins
- Launch the game
Compatibility
- Singleplayer: ✔ Supported
- Multiplayer: ✔ Local-player only
- Game updates: Made for version v0.3.2 - May require updates if Tumble internals change
Notes
This mod intentionally focuses on a single gameplay adjustment and avoids introducing configuration options or keybinds to preserve the game’s original flow.

Install & use Install: BepInEx plugin
- The archive from playbuff is the mod itself — usually a BepInEx plugin (a .dll or a plugin folder once unzipped).
- Recommended: use a community mod manager (such as r2modman) — pick this game, import the mod, and the manager sets up BepInEx and its dependencies for you.
- Manual route: install the BepInEx loader in the game folder, then drop the unzipped .dll or plugin folder into BepInEx/plugins/.
- Launch the game — the BepInEx console logs every plugin it loads; seeing this mod in the log means it is installed.
Mods with listed dependencies need those installed too, or they will not load. Options are usually changed in-game or in the plugin's config file.
