Tactical First-Person Mode
🎮 This mod opens up a tactical first-person mode to the game, equipped with iron sights, custom aiming poses, animations, and more for each weapon. You can freely switch between first-person and third-person perspectives!
---
🎯 Core Functions
1) First person mode
- **Switchable perspective**: Switch between first person and third person with one click.
- **FINE ADJUSTMENT**: Optional camera offset (back/up/right) and field of view (FOV) adjustments let you position the camera perfectly.
- **Auto-hide**: Automatically hide the head, hat and accessories to prevent the model from being worn in the first-person perspective.
**Default Control**
- **Keyboard**: Toggle key = `F10` (may need to be aimed first if the camera is not fully set up).
- **Controller**: No bound keys by default, but the optional **Double-click LT/L2** switching function is enabled. You can also bind a dedicated key in the hotkey UI.
---
2) Customized shooting/aiming posture (default A–D)
- **Presets for each weapon posture**: You can instantly switch between four preset postures in the game (**A left tilt/B right tilt/C tilt/D single arm/custom**), suitable for different aiming styles or weapon categories.
- **Hotkey Driven**: Pressing an activated preset key can quickly turn off the custom pose.
**Default Control**
- **Keyboard**:
- Default modifier key = `right click`
- Default A = `Q`, Default B = `E`, Default C = `G`, Default D = `F`
- Usage: Press and hold `right button`, then press `Q`/`E`/`G`/`F`
- **Handle**:
- Controller default modifier key = `LT (L2)`
- Controller default A = `LB (L1)`, Default B = `RB (R1)`, Default C = `Right joystick pressed`
- Controller default D = `Left joystick press` (requires three clicks)
- Usage: Press and hold `LT/L2`, then press the corresponding preset key
---
3) Mechanical sights
- **Full Weapon Support**: Added iron sights mode for almost all weapons.
**Default Control**
- **Keyboard**:
- Mechanical sight modifier key = `right click`
- Mechanical sight switch key = `EX0` (extra mouse button)

⚙️ Compatibility and Important Notes
- **Required prerequisites**: **REFramework** and **_Scriptcore** are required.
- **Best Partner**: Works best with the **Classic RE4 Laser** and **Realistic Rate of Fire** mods.
- **Installation Order**: To ensure best compatibility, install these mods last, in the following order: **Tactical FPS Mode -> Classic RE4 Laser -> RROF**.
- **Rifle Scope Mode**: When using a scope, the rifle model will mostly disappear. Must be used with **Always Show Rifles When Scoped Mod** or **Glitch's VR Weapon Pack** (and selecting the "Always Show Rifles When Scoped" plugin). The latter will also provide mechanical sights for LE5!
- **Laser Designator**: The default laser has issues in iron sight mode, it is recommended to use the **Classic RE4 Laser** mod for best compatibility.
- **View switching**: Due to the way the parameters are set, the switching key is bound to the aiming key. Some features (such as icon position) require a camera switch (triggered by aiming) in first person to set correctly.
- **Future Outlook**: Please note that someone else is developing a more stable motion FPS/VR mod that is more suitable for VR experiences, as this mod still retains most of the head shaking effect.

💡 **Tip**: The mod is still a work in progress, more deta …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
