Classic Resident Evil 4 laser point and 3D crosshair
This mod completely overhauls the aiming system, bringing it closer to the original Resident Evil 4. All projectile weapons are now equipped with laser dots and follow the correct ballistic trajectory. It repurposes the standard crosshair GUI dot as a laser pointer, allowing the color to be changed in the display settings - a choice of white, blue, green or red.

🔧 Compatibility Notes
✅ **Basically compatible with all mods**
⚠️ **Special Notes:**
- Please disable the shoulder corrector when using first person mods
- When using the Advanced Weapon Framework, the sight type of the laser attachment or laser weapon needs to be set to pistol (Type-4)
- When using Realistic Rate of Fire, please install this module first
- When using Third Person Rifles, please install this module first
🐛 Known issues
- Some weapons with butts (such as Red9 and Leon's TMP) have excessive shaking when moving sideways.
- The fixed turret no longer displays the crosshair, but it is still easy to aim.
- When using Red9 side by side with Luis, the crosshair/laser point will be transferred to him
- Sometimes the default laser will appear at the same time as the new laser point
- There is an invisible collision on the left side of the shooting range, which may affect the position of the laser point
💡 Usage suggestions
In the minecart scene, it is recommended to switch to static laser mode to make aiming easier!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
