WIP Cochinay RDR1
🎮 **Welcome to Kocina! ** This mod aims to transform the Kokkinai region in Red Dead Redemption 2 more closely to what we remember from the original Red Dead Redemption.
---
✨ Module function
- **Classic map reproduction**: Using the map editor, we try our best to restore the style of the Kokinai region in RDR1.
- **Immersive Experience**: Designed to provide players with a nostalgic journey back to the original game.
🛠️ Instructions and suggestions for use
- **Pursuing the best effect**: In order to obtain a visual experience closer to the original game, it is **strongly recommended** that you use a modifier (Trainer) to turn on **Snow Mode or Snow Weather**! ❄️ This will make the scene look much better.
- **About accuracy**: The developers have tried their best to restore the original map, but due to the terrain and world structure limitations of the game itself, the current version is not perfect. Please understand this is a challenging job.
📝 Development status and future plans
🚧 **Please note: This is a mod under development (Work In Progress)! **
*The current version may have some model misalignment or display issues (Glitch).
- The developers plan to make future updates to:
- Optimize map visual effects to make it look more refined.
- Fill in some currently missing building models.
- Fixed discovered issues.
Stay tuned and enjoy this ever-evolving classic place!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
