Weapon YMT Compatibility Mod

🎯 Module function

This mod perfectly integrates WhyEm's DLC, UZI submachine gun, Colt Python, Viper pistol or Glock 18 and Thompson submachine gun! ✨

  • **Full Auto Fire**: Thompson submachine gun and UZI now support full auto fire mode
  • **Removed Conflict**: Removed the hip holster in the UZI module to avoid conflicts with other modules
  • **Multiple Weapons Support**: Get the experience of multiple classic weapons at one time

⚠️ Important reminder

**Note: Only one of the Glock 18 and Viper pistol can be installed at the same time! They both replace the same M1899 pistol**

🛠️ Installation Guide

**Step 1**: Delete the entire **weapons folder** in the UZI submachine gun mod

**Step 2**: Delete the **weapons.ymt** file in the LML folder of the Thompson submachine gun, and search for all other weapons.ymt files in the LML folder, delete them all!

**Step 3**: Go to the Glock 18 LML folder and delete the **weapon_pistol_m1899.ymt** file (only applicable if Glock is installed instead of Viper pistol)

**Step 4**: Replace the existing weapons.ymt file in your **lml\WhyEm's DLC\Weapon_Refrences\2845677** folder with my **weapons.ymt** file

**Step 5**: Make sure all prerequisites are installed correctly

**Step 6**: Search for **catalog_sp** in the LML folder, make sure there is only the catalog_sp file for WhyEm's DLC, delete all others. **Conflict-free files are the key to flawless operation of RDR2 mods**

**Step 7**: This step selects the custom gun image shown in the weapon wheel. Each weapon (Thompson, UZI, Glock) has its own multiwheel_weapon.ytd file. Keep the ones you want, delete the others; having more than one will crash the game (I personally don't use any)

**Step 8**: Place WhyEm's DLC at the top of the load order

**Step 9**: Place all gun mods under WhyEm's DLC

**Step 10**: Launch the game and enjoy fully automatic crazy shooting!

🐛 Known issues

**Viper Pistol Issue**: The Viper Pistol does not fit well into the right hand holster. The holster with John is barely usable, but works great in the left holster. Not sure how to fix it yet, it may be intentional by the modder

**Compatibility Warning**: Red Dead Offline and Online Content Unlocker can cause serious game-breaking issues. Tasks and interactions stopped working properly. It is strongly recommended not to install these mods, although this patch is compatible with them

📋 Version update

**Version 1.1**: Now supports Colt Python, the installation method is the same, just install the Colt Python LML file

**Version 1.2**: Now supports Viper pistol or semi-automatic Glock 18. Magazine capacity has been set to 21 rounds, fixing an issue where the original Viper pistol required an 1899 firearm to have a higher magazine capacity. The fully automatic version of the Glock 18 or Viper pistol is coming soon, so stay tuned!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
