2: Western expansion

A hardcore story mode package for Red Dead Redemption 2 built with immersion, richness, and long-term replayability in mind. The integration package provides unified matching and compatibility adjustments around world events, combat feedback, survival rhythm, looting economy, dynamic seasons, visual atmosphere, bank crime and legal systems, as well as camps and daily interactions.

On the basis of retaining the tone of the original Westworld, it adds more feedback-oriented gunplay, stricter physical strength and death eye management, more valuable looting and hunting activities, random cigarette card drops, gang hideouts, transportation and robbery events, prop interactions, etc., while reducing conflicts between mods through file merging and compatibility repairs.

The integration package emphasizes stability and overall experience, and makes selections on content that has obvious bugs, easily causes mission stuck, or seriously damages the rhythm of the game, so that the wilderness has stronger randomness, sense of danger, breath of life, and long-term exploration value.

Before installation or update, it is recommended to back up the game root directory, lml folder and important archives.

Known mission impact: During the basic version test, the "Kind and Kind Tyrant" mission on Guama Island may not be enabled; other tested missions can be carried out as usual. Before using the Chapter 2 stay plug-in, please treat it as an independent gameplay version and do not overwrite the unique save.

• Supplement the classic integration package·Chapter 2 Stay plug-in instructions. Clarify the applicable objects, functional scope, installation sequence and archiving requirements of the basic package and Chapter 2 stay plug-in.
• Organize the page structure. Separate descriptions of plug-in content, base package content, optional seasonal plans, known mission impacts, and historical updates to reduce misunderstandings during installation.
• Keep the original gameplay and update records. This time, the documentation is optimized and the game files of the base package or plug-ins will not be changed.

2026/10/7｜Chapter 2 Stay Plug-in and Basic Package Update

New independent version: Classic integration package·Chapter 2 stay plug-in. It's aimed at players who want to stay in Chapter 2 for a long time and play Chapter 2 as an open-ended Western sandbox. This plug-in is built on the Chinese basic package and the selected four-season plan. After installation, it will change the plot progress, store unlocking, map restrictions, challenge status and some archive logic. Please save the save file separately and do not mix it with the basic version in the same long-term save file. There may still be a few translation and compatibility details in the current version, which will be maintained in the future.
