🎮 **IMPORTANT NOTE**: This mod is **not compatible** with any other mods! Please be sure to remove all existing mods before installing, otherwise the game may become corrupted.

This mod integrates Luke Ross' RealVR and aims to bring a complete VR experience to "Red Dead Redemption 2". Please note that some anti-virus software may falsely report files, which is a common "false positive" phenomenon. If you don’t want to download the integration package here, you can also search for “RealVR rdr2 download” on YouTube, where many creators have shown and shared it.

In addition, the compatibility patch included in this integration pack can also increase the game frame rate (approximately 10-15 FPS).

🛠️ Installation and setup tutorial

This tutorial was created by Eddy'zGamingRoom and the gameplay demo is from Call Me Kevin.

**Step 1**

Unzip the RealVR and Vrperfkit files (RealVR can be found in the Requirements menu).

**Step 2**

Start the game, go to the settings menu (probably the "Video" or "Gameplay" option), and turn **First Person Head Shake** to the lowest setting to avoid dizziness and discomfort!

**Step 3**

Move all your current mod files to your desktop or other location for backup. **If you don't do this, the game will break** and you will have to reinstall from scratch.

**Step 4**

Right-click "Red Dead Redemption 2" in **Steam**, select "Properties", click "Updates", and change "Always keep this game up to date" to "Only update this game when I launch it."

**Step 5**

Move all files within the RealVR folder ("Move me first") and the VRperfkit folder ("Move me last") to the **Main game directory** of Red Dead Redemption 2. If prompted to replace files when moving RealVR, click "Yes". But if you have installed an older version before, it is recommended to delete the old file first, because this V2 version contains a new file that fixes game crashes and graphics errors.

**Step 6**

Run the `Realconfig.bat` file and follow the prompts to select your image quality options.

**Step 7**

Run the game.

**Step 8**

A ReShade pop-up window will appear after the game loads, please press the **R2 and L2 keys** of the game controller at the same time, or set a hotkey with the mouse and press it.

**Step 9**

Press the **Windows key**, a small window similar to an error message will pop up, click "OK". Then return to the game, you will enter the main menu, press **Enter** on your keyboard to start loading the game.
