Simply increase the bet amount of mini-games

Raise the stakes

🎯Mod Overview

A simple script module that makes the mini-games in Red Dead Redemption 2 more challenging and profitable!

When a game ends and you leave the table, the amount you lost/won in that game will be multiplied by a configurable parameter and updated in your balance. The money notification on the right will also display the corresponding amount.

⚙️ Installation instructions

  • Download and install AB's ScripthookRDR2:
  • Make sure Version.dll or Online Content Unlocker is installed
  • Move *HighStakes.asi* and *HighStakes.ini* files to the game root directory

---

📝 Notes

  • If you don't have enough money, the mod won't let you buy in with the adjusted amount. In this case, the mini-game will start with the original amount
  • The purpose of this mod is not to make a money cheat, but to actually make these mini-games more challenging (and profitable)
  • I know a similar mod already exists, kudos to Ecril! But for me that mod didn't work so I decided to make one myself

🔮 Future Plans

I may add some new features in the future, such as adding loot to the NPCs you play with. Suggestions welcome!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
