🎯Mod Overview

This mod is dedicated to completely transforming the weapon system in the game to make it more relevant to the civilian and military arsenal of the late 19th century. Through careful numerical adjustments, players can enjoy a more realistic and immersive Western gunfight experience.

🔫 Improved realism

The weapon system has been significantly improved in terms of realism:

• **Reload Speed** intentionally slowed down to enhance the realism of the game
• **Accuracy** Each weapon has been individually adjusted, players can clearly feel the difference
• **Damage** rebalanced to ensure a fairer and more realistic combat experience
• **Special Remake** Some weapons have been specially modified to further improve their performance.

💥 Damage and ammunition system

• **Non-standard ammo** now more powerful
• **All revolvers** (including Schofield) gain high damage output due to the same caliber
• When **NPC uses powerful weapons** (shotgun, Spencer rifle, Springfield rifle), the player will suffer full damage
• **Removed** Explosive Ammo from Pistols, Lemat Revolvers and Navy Revolvers

⚡ Firing and rate of fire adjustment

• **Rate of fire increased**: semi-automatic pistols, shotguns, bolt-action rifles, Litchfield repeaters and Volcanic pistols
• **Rate of Fire Reduced**: Carbine Repeater, Cattleman Revolver and Navy Revolver
• **Wear Weapons** The rate of fire is further reduced to highlight the differences between old and new weapons
• **NPC on horseback** has the same or lower rate of fire than when on foot (the rate of fire on horseback is higher in the original version)

🕒 Reloading speed

• Reloading speed has been significantly reduced, 1.5 to 2.8 times slower than before
• Although NPC reloading speed is still faster than players, it is significantly slower than the original version
• **NEW FEATURE**: Interrupt the reloading process by loading only one round (originally required two rounds)

🎯 Accuracy optimization

• Adjusted the accuracy of short guns, shotguns and repeaters based on target distance
• There is a significant difference in accuracy between near and far distances
• **All Firearms** Range increased

🔧 Weapon accessories

• **Long Barrel Short Gun**: damage +7%, accuracy +18%, but wear rate increased by 12%
• **Long Barrel Shotgun**: Accuracy +18%
• **Short Barrel Schofield**: +12% rate of fire, -25% accuracy

💢 Recoil effect

• The recoil effect of rifles and shotguns has been enhanced
• Players can clearly feel the recoil and its impact on the body

• Requires LML mod loader
• Place the "American Frontier Weaponry" folder into the lml directory
