Shopkeepers Stay Dead (And Get Replaced)
🎮 **Immersive low-honor gameplay enhancement module**
✨ Module function
When you play a low-honor game, you will no longer encounter those shopkeepers who are magically resurrected with bandages! This mod completely changes the game mechanics:
- 🎯 Shopkeepers, Sheriffs and important NPCs will be replaced by completely different characters after death
- 👥 Use over 100 truncated NPC and environmental NPC models
- 🏙️ Covering important roles such as shopkeepers, butchers, and police chiefs in all towns
- 🔄 Each replacement model is unique, ensuring no duplication
🎭 Deleted NPCs used
The module carefully selected the following deleted NPC characters:
- Senor Andreas Colon
- Abridged version of the German mother character
- Censored "Exotic" shopkeeper in Saint Denis
- Abridged Trapper of Saint-Denis
- Featherston Chambers
- Nial Whelan
- Dr. Higgins
- male_skeleton.ymt
- Various Saint-Denis fat men
- Shack Twin
📝 *More characters will be added soon! *
---
⚠️ Notes
- 🔧 Not fully tested yet to see if the bandage model will revert to its original character
- 🗣️ Voice remains the same (technical limitations)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
