Sweet n' Simple ReShade

Red Dead Redemption 2 has (in my opinion) one of the best graphics ever. However, I feel it still has room for improvement. For example, sometimes the vegetation looks slightly desaturated, the sky isn't really azure, etc. I've seen a lot of Red Dead Redemption ReShade presets on YouTube that claim to be super realistic, but they just don't feel right to me. Some areas are too dark, others are oversaturated. So, I decided to try it out myself.

✨ Module Features

**Sweet n' Simple ReShade** only slightly adjusts the colors of the game, but it is these small changes that improve the gaming experience tenfold!

  • **Balanced Light and Shadow**: Dark areas are no longer ridiculously dark, and bright areas are no longer glaring.
  • **Vivid Nature**: Trees take on a brighter green, while night lights remain soft without being overly saturated.
  • **Clear Water**: The water surface is brighter and more vivid.
  • **Azure Sky**: The sky is getting bluer!
  • **Charming Atmosphere**: Street lights cast a soft glow on the streets, trees and buildings illuminated by the glow. When the sun rises, golden light will fill the earth.

Re-experience "Red Dead Redemption 2" with a new perspective.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE

This is my first time trying to make a ReShade preset, I'm still a newbie. Therefore, the following points need to be noted:
* Something I can't quite figure out yet is that sometimes skin tones and clothing can appear oversaturated.
* Frequent exposure/brightness changes in story mode cutscenes may affect it a bit.

These minor issues aside, the game world looks more vibrant and vibrant.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
