RDR2 Lightning Strike Mod - STORM GUN
⚡ **Where the bullet hit, lightning fell from the sky! ** ⚡
This cool mod lets you transform into Thor in Red Dead Redemption 2! By modifying Alexander Blade's ScriptHook example, I created a weapon that allows your bullets to summon lightning.
🌀 New version - STORM GUN
Now, the power of lightning has been integrated into an all-new weapon!
- **Installation method** is the same as described below.
- **How to use**: After entering the game, open the menu, select **WEAPONS (Weapons) > STORM GUN (Storm Gun)** and activate this option.
- **After activation**, when your bullet hits the target, it will trigger a dazzling lightning!
💡 **Usage Tips**:
In order to activate the lightning effect faster, it is recommended to switch the in-game weather to **Cloudy or Storm** first. Because the first few bullets will "summon the storm", when the storm actually comes, most hits will trigger the lightning effect, making the experience even better!

📜 Old version information
If you want to see how the mod has evolved, here's how to use the old version of Power Gun:
- **Install Basic Tools**: First, make sure you have the latest version of Alexander Blade ScriptHook installed.
- **Placing the files**: Extracted my `NativeTrainer.asi` file to the game root directory (which is where the `RDR2.exe` and ScriptHook files are).
- **Bring Out Menu**: Press the **F5** key in game to activate the modifier menu.
- **Select Function**: Enter the **WEAPON** menu and enable the **POWERFUL GUNS** option.
- **Release Lightning**: Press the **F1** key, and a bolt of lightning will crash down 15 meters in front of you!
🙏 **Special Thanks**:
The implementation of this mod relies entirely on the powerful tools developed by Alexander Blade, all credit goes to him!
Are you ready to rock Westworld with the power of thunder? Go and try it!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
