Stop Screen Shake - Stable Cam
🎯 Module function
**A_Stop Screen Shake(lml) version:**
Ever since GTA V, camera shake has become increasingly annoying. In Red Dead Redemption 2, the camera shakes so ridiculously even during combat that it literally made me dizzy. This mod should disable most camera shake effects in the game (sprinting, explosions, combat, etc.).
🔄 Differences from other modules
The main difference between this module and **alfabravozapa**'s **Remove Screen Effects** is that it retains the interaction lock function. That mod also cannot disable explosive shakes like **Explosive Explosion**, whereas this mod should be able to disable all types of explosive shakes.
🤝 Compatibility Notes
Compatible with **srgamerio**'s Reduce Camera Shake, this mod reduces the head shake effect in first-person perspective.
🎮 B_Stable Cam(asi) version
I've been working on a script project that aims to create a custom lens that emulates the way the gameplay camera works in the game, but without that annoying camera shake. This is the latest version I've created, but it's not perfect yet.
**Instructions for use:**
- Press Ctrl + Z (default) to enable the lens
- Press Ctrl + G (default) to disable the lens
- All settings can be hot reloaded
⚙️ Configuration information
See **StableCam.ini** in the module file for more configuration information.

💡 **TIP:** If you still find screen shaking during the game, please let me know in the comment section.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
