About this mod Machine translation
Disable all NPC mischief while riding! This includes running into the road ahead of you, turning on you while riding, and stopping you with a carriage!
Just Quit Trolling Already (Horse Riding)
🐎 Function Overview
This module specifically solves the malicious interference behavior of NPCs in RDR2 when players are riding horses! When you are riding a horse, NPCs will no longer deliberately run in front of you to block the road, the horse rider will not suddenly swerve into you, and the carriage will not deliberately stop you.
🎯 Problem Solving
These are indeed pranks intentionally designed by the developers. NPCs only do this to the player character, not random environmental behavior. The "run ahead of you" spoof only happens in densely populated cities and towns (like Saint-Denis, Blackwater, etc.).
NPCs will also now complain less about you and generally be less jumpy when you're riding. However, they will still jump excessively if you ride directly towards them, but that's a separate behavior (i.e. "get out of the way or die").
🎥 Example of behavior
- **Example A**: People running into the road like this
- **Example B**: Carriages and trucks stop you like this

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
