SP metal detector---(Chinese version)
This is a script that introduces online metal detectors to story mode.
N network original address;
The original author of the MOD is Shtivi, thank you.
I made a simple Chinese version.
Installation: Place into the RDR2.EXE home directory, drag and drop the MetalDetector.asi and MetalDetector folders into the game's home directory.
Make sure you have scripthook and asi loader installed. Online Content Unlocker (version.dll or similar), and RDO.
Q: Is there no metal detector available for purchase in the store?
Answer: Normally, after installing the MOD, there are metal detectors available for purchase in the store catalog. If not, use the thunder modifier to generate it. Weapons - Weapon Management - Online - Metal Detector. After brushing out, switch to the roulette wheel and save the archive. The metal detector has been saved in your backpack.
Note: When there are jewelry and collectibles nearby, the screen will prompt you to use a metal detector to search for them. When using a metal detector, there will be an intermittent sound, which is different from the online sound.
The sound becomes more frequent the closer you get to the collectible; the sound becomes intermittent as you move further away until it disappears.
When approaching a collectible, you can turn on the eagle eye, and there will be a yellow prompt. When you find a collectible, there will be a digging prompt. If the bug is stuck after digging, press the F key on the keyboard.
Collectibles are random jewelry, gold, rings, gold nuggets, coin purses, ammunition, gold bars, etc., distributed throughout the map.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
