SimpleGangWar 🎮
**SimpleGangWar** allows players to create real-time epic gunfights between two teams (ally and enemy) anytime, anywhere! The idea is very simple:
✨ Core Functions
- **Choose the battlefield**: You can freely choose where allies and enemies spawn.
- **Continuous Combat**: After the battle starts, enemies and allies will continue to regenerate as they die, and there will always be a certain number of living NPCs fighting.
- **Full Control**: You can pause, resume or stop combat at any time.
- **Highly Customizable**: NPC models, weapons and other settings can be customized.
💡 **Note**: This RDR2 ported version may be unstable, feedback and problem reports are welcome!

🛠️ Installation Guide
- **Required Prerequisites**: This mod requires ScriptHookRDR2 and ScriptHookRDR2 DotNet and their dependencies.
- **Installation Steps**: Download the module and extract the `SimpleGangWar.cs` and `SimpleGangWar.ini` files into the `Red Dead Redemption 2/scripts` folder (please create it if it does not exist).
🎮 How to use
- **Startup/Setup**: Pressing the default key **F9** will guide you through all the setup steps of the module. An on-screen subtitle message will prompt you on what to do.
- **Pause/Resume**: Press the default key **Z** to pause or resume NPC generation.

⚠️ Known issues
- Any crash in the script will usually crash the entire game (this seems to be an issue with ScriptHookRDR2DotNet).
- NPCs may not fight when spawn points are too far apart or on slopes.
- Enabling the `ProcessOtherRelationshipGroups` setting may cause the game to crash.
- Setting too many NPCs per team may cause the game to crash.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
