About this mod Machine translation
Marks all possible missed and stranger tasks displayed on the map, and new markers can be added and managed.
Since there are many mission names on the Internet that are mixed with both simplified and traditional versions, I followed the missions from beginning to end and translated them against the in-game Simplified Chinese names.
Mod introduction: Displays markers on the map for all possible missed and stranger tasks, and can mark more diverse and manageable markers on the map. This module only displays task markers on the map and does not trigger tasks. You need to unlock the corresponding tasks according to the chapter process. This module is convenient for missing tasks and can check for missing tasks.
Open the map and press the space bar to display the column markers. Press and hold the ALT key + select the icon with the left mouse button to mark your location. Press and hold the ALT key + select the icon with the right mouse button to mark the path point. ALT key + L key can manage existing markers.
**Purple Question** - is a task that is time-independent and available at any time
**Red Skull** - a quest that disappears after the chapter ends
**Blue Man** Head - Bounty Mission
**Installation: Just unzip to the game root directory, the pre-script hook v2 module is included**
PS: The second creator added the function of automatically marking path points on the original basis. It is very troublesome to manually delete the markers every time. There is a stupid way:
In the mod configuration folder ManyMoreMapMarkers in the game root directory, set the right-click attribute of the markers.json file to read-only, so that every time you re-enter the game, the default original mission markers will be restored, and you don't have to delete them one by one (this is equivalent to stopping the marker points from being written to the configuration file, but it also means giving up the function of creating your own markers. If you need to create your own markers, turn off the read-only attribute, or manually write the markers into the configuration file).
11.19 Update: Chapter 2 06-08 "American Dream" has been changed to "Killer Clues". Chapter 2 09 is the final destination of the American Dream mission after collecting the clues.
11.12 Update: Two incorrect translations of the stranger’s mission name "Powder on the Stage" were correctly translated as "Powder on the Stage"
Update 11.6: Added description text for how to turn off automatic marking. Complete the game from beginning to end and follow the mission to adjust a few incorrect mission name translations.
10.25 update: I learned how to use PASSOLO to Chineseize asi script files. Currently, the English of the interactive buttons on the ALT+L interface has also been Chineseized, as well as the English of marked locations.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
