Replaced Bear Claw Amulet with Sheriff Badge
sheriff badge
🔫 **A simple model replacement mod that allows you to wear the Sheriff's Badge in Red Dead Redemption 2! **
This mod replaces Arthur's "Bear Claw Amulet" model with the classic "Sheriff's Badge". Make your character look more like a Western lawman without using modifiers or costume changers.
🛠️ Installation method
The installation process is very simple:
- **Model file (.ydd)**
- **Map Editor:** into the `MapEditor/Streaming/Models` folder
- **Rampage Modifier:** Place in `RampageFiles/Models` folder
- **Texture file (.ytd)**
- **Map Editor:** Place in `MapEditor/Streaming/Textures` folder
- **Rampage modifier:** Place in `RampageFiles/Textures` folder
After completing the above steps, start the game and the module will be loaded automatically!
⚠️ Known issues
- **Model adaptation problem:** The badge will not automatically adjust its position according to the different jackets you are wearing, so the model may clip when wearing certain jackets.
- **Minor Graphics Blemishes:** There may be some minor graphics display issues.
💡 Instructions for use
This mod simply replaces the "Bear Claw Amulet" model. You can still use the amulet normally in the game, it just looks like a Sheriff's Badge.
This is a great option for players who don't want to use modifiers or complicated costume changing tools, but want to add a bit of an enforcer flair to their character!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
