Seki's Visuals - Graphic modification

🌟Module introduction

After 8 months of constant tweaking and reworking, I finally completed this visual effects mod! This mod is completely based on my personal aesthetic and is designed to make Red Dead Redemption 2 look even better.

⚡ Custom weather system

The mod contains 4 unique custom weather effects:

  • **Strong Wind Weather** - More realistic dynamic wind effects
  • **RDR1 themed weather** - specially designed for RDR1 areas on the map (CSHighPressure, CSClouds)
  • **Severe Thunderstorm** - An enhanced version of thunderstorm weather, including stronger winds, denser rain, more realistic water effects and unique clouds

📍 Weather trigger location

  • **Severe Thunderstorms**: West Grizzly, Grand Canyon, Marshland, Crimson Meadows, Heartland
  • **RDR1 Weather**: West Elizabeth, New Austin, Mexico
  • **Windy Weather**: Roanoke, Heartland, Great Plains, Everglades, Crimson Meadows

🛠️ Installation instructions

Put the SEKI folder into your LML directory

The path required for custom weather is: RDR2 Folder/lml/SEKI/SekisVisuals

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE

  • This mod is not designed for Reshade, but you can use it optionally

  • There may be some consistency issues and bugs as not all missions have been fully tested yet

🎯 Future update plan

  • Consistency fixes

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
