Saint Denis Underground Project

🚇Project introduction

This is a project that took me more than two months to create! My goal is to expand the game map and make the already huge game world even wider. Many games have sewer scenes, but I always felt like that was missing in this game, so I decided to create one myself!

🏛️ Historical background

The earliest sewer systems in the United States were built in Chicago and Brooklyn in the late 1850s. In 1890, the first sewage treatment plant in the United States using chemical precipitation was built in Worcester, Massachusetts. Based on these historical facts, it's entirely possible that a sewer system exists in the game's timeline.

🎮 Design inspiration

I took inspiration from the following classic games to design these sewers:

  • **Assassin's Creed: Syndicate**:
  • **Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles**:
  • **Batman: Arkham City and Arkham Asylum**:
  • **L.A. Noire**:
  • **Mafia 2 and 3**:

⚙️ Installation instructions

  • Put all sewer files into lml stream folder
  • Place the portal file into the portals folder (you need to install the portal module first)
  • Optional: Place the sewerpeds file into the mapeditor maps folder and load it manually

---

  • Explore the mysterious world beneath Saint-Denis and discover secret passages and spaces hidden beneath the city! *

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
