🎨 **Reproduce the classic! ** This ReShade preset is designed to bring the visual style of Red Dead Redemption 2 back to the feel of the original Red Dead Redemption.

✨ Module Features

By referring to a large number of screenshots of the game from different places and times, I adjusted the color balance, striving to restore the visual atmosphere of the original game while keeping the image simple. **No unnecessary blooming or sharpening**, just staying true to the original look.

Comparative screenshots of Red Dead Redemption, this preset, and the original Red Dead Redemption 2 are provided below. All screenshots are set to the same time using Rampage Trainer.

**Please note:** The default is not strictly based on these screenshots as the only reference, so the degree of restoration will fluctuate in different scenarios, but we strive to maintain an average level.

🛠️ Installation Guide

• **Download ReShade**

Download the installer from the Reshade official website.

• **Positioning Game**

Run the installer, find your `RDR2.exe` file, select it and click Next.

• **Select Rendering API**

Select your rendering API (check your game settings. I used Vulkan because it improves performance, but that probably won't matter much for this preset) and click Next.

• **Installation/Update**
• If installing for the first time, select the installation option and continue.
• If ReShade is already installed, select "Update ReShade and Special Effects" and click Next.
• **Select special effects**

Select the following effects packs and click Next:

• Standard effects
• SweetFX by CeeJay.dk
• Color effects by prod80
• GShade-Shaders by Marot
• **Load Preset**

After entering the game, open the ReShade menu (press the `Home` key by default). After completing the tutorial, find the `RevertRed2.ini` file path in the drop-down menu at the top of the "Home" tab, select the preset, and confirm it to take effect.
