Promotional Image and Trailer Graphics Restored and Enhanced

🎨 Function introduction

This mod strives to recreate and expand on the stunning visuals seen in Rockstar Games' official promotional images (check it out here) and the game's numerous trailers (mainly Parts 2 and 3, here and there).

Like the promotional material, this mod maintains fidelity to the current game while making numerous adjustments to:

  • ✨ Lighting system optimization
  • 🌫️ Enhanced volume effect
  • 🎨 Color tone adjustment
  • 🔲 Ambient occlusion improvements

Since Rockstar didn't show all the weather effects, I did artistic work on some aspects, such as the night effects, which were adjusted to my personal preference.

🐛 Known issues

✅ The shadow problem of metal items (such as belt buckles and buttons) in shadow areas has been fixed in version V1.07!

If you find other issues, please let me know and I'll look into it. But please note: personal preference (eg "I don't like the way an effect looks!") will not be considered a problem and such feedback will be ignored.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
