Rededrunk persistence
✨ Features
This mod allows you to save your current location and in-game time! Say goodbye to the hassle of being teleported to a nearby location when loading after saving in the original game.
🎮 How to use
**Open the log or log menu (press J or L on the keyboard / press the left arrow key on the handle) to save the precise location and current time! **
After saving, a `Rededrunk_PersistentSave.txt` file will be created in the main game directory to store your location and time information.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
- This mod only saves position and time, **does not save game progress**
- It is strongly recommended to **turn on the auto-save** function
- Only save to one location at a time - All save files are loaded to the same location and time
- **Mods will be automatically disabled during missions**
📦 Installation requirements
Requires ScriptHookRDR2 V2 to be installed
🔧 Installation method
Just put the `Rededrunk's Persistent Save.asi` file into the game's main directory
🗑️ Uninstall method
Just delete `Rededrunk's Persistent Save.asi` and the created `Rededrunk_PersistentSave.txt` file
💡 Usage Tips
- Remember to use the game's built-in save system unless you rely on autosave
- Occasionally, it may be in an animated state (such as leaning) when loading. This is a characteristic of the game itself. Move it and it will return to normal.
- Only one location can be saved at a time unless the txt file is deleted

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
