Greetings from Malaysia! 👋 Now is the MCO 3.0 period. I want to share a simple Reshade preset so that everyone can enjoy a more beautiful Western world at home. Stay at home and break the chain of transmission of the new coronavirus! Stay safe, guys! !

🛠️ Installation Guide

The new version of Reshade can be a bit confusing because there are so many effects to choose from. You can select all effects directly, or use older versions (around 3.4.1) from here:

• **Reshade Effect Library**:

After installing the old version, you can run the new version to update.

**Installation steps:**

• **Download Preset**: Download this preset and extract it to the directory where your `rdr2.exe` file is located.
• **Download Reshade**: Download Reshade from .
• **Installation and Activation**:
• Run the Reshade installation tool and follow the prompts.
• Close the installation tool and start the game.
• Press `Home` key or `Shift+F2` (old version) in game.
• Select the **VStormV** preset.
• Finish! 🎉

**Technical effects used:** `EyeAdaption, BloomAndLensFlares, Technicolor, Clarity, Vibrance`

**IMPORTANT:** Once setup is complete, don’t forget to turn on Performance Mode!

⚙️ Personalized adjustments

• **Color Saturation**: This preset is adjusted based on the Nvidia graphics card's 50% digital vibration setting. Results may vary on different monitors. You can turn off the `Technicolor` effect and adjust Reshade's `Vibrance` color to your liking.
• **Windows 10 Dark Screen Issue**: If you experience dimming of your display, please adjust the gamma value. Search the taskbar for "color management" and follow this guide .

**✨ Little easter egg:** This preset can also be used in other games! Might as well give it a try!

🎮 My game optimization tips

• **Resolution**: At 1080p, 1440p looks better with DLDSR than DLSS.
• **Ray Tracing**: Use low-end RT settings.
• **Latency**: When using DLSS, always enable low-latency mode.
• **API Choice**: Use DX12 instead of Vulkan, while Vulkan may run out of memory, DX12 sometimes has shadowing issues.
• **Picture Effect**: Turn off motion blur.
• **Nvidia Control Panel Settings**: Enable vertical synchronization + triple buffering + thread optimization.
