realistic weapon sounds
🎯 **Immersive weapon sound effect experience**
This is the first version of my mod designed to provide the most realistic gunfire listening experience possible to make gunplay as enjoyable as possible. Each sound was created by combining the sounds of primitive 19th century weapons with the bass, volume and loudness of modern weapons.
---
✨ Main functions
- **First person weapon sounds** (most weapons)
- **Third person sound effects**
- **Indoor environment sound effects**
- **Distant gunshot propagation effect**
- **Supersonic bullet crackle from the movie "The Patriot"**
- **Explosion sound effects**
- **Fort (cannon) sounds**

📥 Installation Guide
- Install Lenny's Mod Loader
- Place the downloaded RWS folder into: `C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Red Dead Redemption 2\lml`
- Start the game!
---
⚠️ Current Limitations
Due to problems with the game itself, there are currently 4 weapons that cannot modify the sound files (the game cannot recognize the modified files):
- Elephant rifle
- Navy revolver
- Gatling gun
- Browning machine gun
I'm continuing to work on how to get these weapons working and they will be added in a future update.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
