Stylized original horse

🎯 **Note: Please do not use XML files yet unless you know what you are doing**

---

✨ Module introduction

I selected the most beautiful horses from the original horses and the horses added by RampageTrainer (regardless of horse attributes), and designed better-looking hairstyles for them. Now I share these carefully crafted horses with you!

I hope you like it~ (If you don’t like it, don’t tell me 😊)

---

📦 Installation requirements

  • **HORSE IMAGES**: No additional tools required/7-zip
  • **HORSE FILE**: Requires ScriptHook + RampageTrainer/7-zip

---

🛠️ Installation method

**Method 1: Reference pictures**

Create a beautiful horse manually using the provided images as a guide

**Method 2: Install directly**

Use 7-zip to extract the file to:

`\steamapps\common\Red Dead Redemption 2\RampageFiles\Saved Horses`

Use RampageTrainer after entering the game: Press F5 > Horse > save/load

📝 **File naming instructions**:

Filenames are named by breed and coat color (using my more accurate description, not the horse breeder's terminology)

If you want to use the original name, you can find the horse you want through the picture and search by breed and color in RampageTrainer

🗑️ **Uninstall Method**: Just delete the file, this will not affect your existing horses

---

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE

**Hairstyle is not permanent**:

I changed the horse's mane and tail using the RampageTrainer mobile stable feature, which means the hairstyle change is not permanent. You need to take your horse to the stable and set the same hairstyle to keep it permanent, otherwise RDR may make your horse bald at some point

**If baldness has occurred**: No problem, just go to the stables and reset your hair style

**Horse Size Adjustment**:

In the picture I used RampageTrainer to resize the horses that Arthur looks silly riding (Arabian, Morgan, Nocotah, Appaloosa?), but this does not affect the XML file

---

📋 Other instructions

  • Horses and hairstyles for RDO Online are not included
  • Some of the horses have been slightly changed, this was originally just a collection of horses that I personally thought looked good
  • No changes have been made to the Buell horse

**Coat Color Marking Instructions**:

  • bay = black socks
  • bayy = black stockings
  • bayy = black stockings + face
  • blz = facial white stripes
  • sml blz = small/interrupted white stripes
  • big blz = white face
  • markings = white socks and facial stripes

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
