Clean Chapter 2 Save Post-Prologue Ultimate Edition
🎮 Module introduction
After playing through Red Dead Redemption 2 multiple times and going through the tedious prologue each time, I decided to create and share a post-prologue Chapter 2 save file with a few extra perks!
✨ Archive Features
- **Ultimate Edition Benefits**: Using the Ultimate Edition of the game, the archive contains the Nuevo Paraiso set (but does not include Thoroughbreds and additional bank robbery missions)
- **Perfect Start**: Complete all prologue missions with gold medals and meet all requirements
- **Pure experience**: Did not complete any Chapter 2 missions, did not encounter any strangers or random world events
🏕️ Camp details
You will start at the Horseshoe Overlook camp, where Arthur has unlocked 5 camp request missions:
- 🔥 Dutch pipe
- 📖 Hosea’s Storybook
- 🌿 Ms. Grimshaw's Herbal Medicine
- 🐇 Pearson's Rabbit
- ✒️ Mary-Beth's fountain pen
💡 NOTE: Failed to trigger Abigail's $5 request
🦌 Hunting results
To pass the time (each request has a specific firing period), I've hunted:
- ✅ A perfect pronghorn
- ✅ Two perfect deer
and donated the carcasses of two deer to Pearson, unlocking the Master Hunter II challenge at the same time!
---
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
This archive does not contain:
-Limpany Treasure Map
- Ardennes War Horse
- Abigail's $5 Request
Enjoy this clean start to Chapter 2 and skip the lengthy prologue and get straight to the heart of the game!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
