Pre-order Iron Gray Ardennes War Horse
🐎Module introduction
This is a .ymt file of an iron-gray war horse, originally only available to pre-order players. With this mod, you can replace any horse in the game with this unique iron-gray Ardennes warhorse.
✨ Features
- Pure appearance replacement, does not affect the horse's statistics, name and NPC reactions
- The height will be adjusted accordingly, so you don’t have to worry about the mini Ardennes horse appearing after replacing the Arabian horse.
- Perfectly restore the visual effects of the pre-order exclusive war horse
📦 Installation method
- Install Lenny's Mod Loader and RDR2 Scripthook
- Create a new folder named stream in the lml folder of the game root directory
- Place the a_c_horse_ardennes_irongreyroan.ymt file into the stream folder
- Rename the file to the name of the horse you want to replace (it is recommended to select an available horse)
🎮 Alternatives
If you want your Iron Gray Ardennes to exist as an independent horse, Lenny's Simple Trainer is recommended. Find the [Horses] section in lst.ini and replace one of the A_C names with a_c_horse_ardennes_irongreyroan. After entering the game, press F5, select Horses → Spawn Horses, and then select a_c_horse_ardennes_irongreyroan.
💡 Tip: The second method does not require the a_c_horse_ardennes_irongreyroan.ymt file
A list of horse codes is provided in the download file for your convenience. Enjoy this unique pre-order warhorse!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
