Photo-realism Reshade
🎮 **A photorealistic Reshade preset tailor-made for "Red Dead Redemption 2"! **
---
✨ Original intention of creation
I wasn't happy with the slightly washed-out colors and sharpness of the original version of the game, and I also felt like the existing Reshade presets felt like something was missing. So I made this preset to make the game look the best it can!
⚙️ Performance Notes
With this preset, the frame rate will drop by approximately **5-7 FPS**. If you are nervous about frame rates, this preset may not be suitable for you. But personally, I think the improvement in picture quality is totally worth the performance loss! 😉
📥 Installation Guide
- **Download Reshade**: Please go to the Reshade official website to download and install it into your "Red Dead Redemption 2" game directory.
- **Use presets**: Put my preset files (`.ini` files) into the **same game directory**.
- **Load Preset**: In the game, just load my preset file through the Reshade menu.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
