Personal Boat
🚤 Module function
A great mod that lets you have your own personal ship in the game! You can buy, customize and even sell boats for a whole new level of water adventure.
⚙️ Installation Guide
- Download and install AB's ScripthookRDR2
- Download and install ASI Loaders for LMS
- Copy the *Boats.asi* file and *Boats* folder to the game root directory
- Make sure the Boats folder has full read and write permissions
🎮 Quick Start
- Go to the newly added dock marker on the map
- When the "Dock Service" prompt appears, interact with it to open the menu
- Buy your own new ship! You can customize appearance options such as colors, lighting fixtures, etc.
✨ Features
- **Boat Management**: Buy, customize and sell boats at the dock
- **Ship Memory**: The module will remember where you parked your ship and can return to it at any time.
- **Boat Theft**: It's even possible to steal other boats and sell them at the docks
🎯 Ship robbery incident
The mod introduces a brand new random event system!
Occasionally ships will spawn carrying high-value cargo, which you can take over and sell at a dock for a high price. This feature can be turned off or the event frequency adjusted in the Settings.ini file.
⚙️ Custom settings
Adjust various settings through the Settings.ini file, and for more advanced configuration (such as pricing), edit the Configs.dat file.
🌍 Multi-language support
Mod supports easy translation into other languages:
- Open the Lang.dat file in the mod folder
- This is a key-value dictionary file, just edit the text content on the right side of each line
- Restart the game to take effect

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
