Final big update! Fixed all 15 online dead horses, plus two additional single-player and multiplayer horses, so that they function properly and can be used to replace any or all horses in the game. Includes horse carcasses, freshly shot horses with gunshot wounds to the head, and horses with actual flesh and blood missing. Get ready to create your own undead nightmare!

🎮 **The final version has been released! ** This mod brings back dead horses that were unavailable in Red Dead Redemption 2 Online, allowing you to ride them or even replace the entire world's live horses with them!

🐎Module Introduction

I fixed the **15 dead horses** (plus two bonus horses) that existed in online mode to make them walking "undead".

These horses are some of the rarest models in the game, as they were **never intended to be ridden or seen in single-player mode**, and the models themselves suffer from a variety of issues, from display errors and missing parts to model crossovers and color anomalies.

Some of the "Horse Corpse" models actually have large chunks of flesh missing from their bodies (for example, "Horse Corpse 02" has almost no hind legs left). A lot of effort went into restoring these models because they were not originally designed to move or stand. Through trial and error, I successfully restored them and kept them as original and fully functional as possible.

✨ Module function

• **Replace any horse**: You can choose to replace any major horse type and get **17 different dead horse variants** at once. It is also possible to individually swap the dead horse you want with any special or gang horse.
• **Create the Undead Apocalypse**: You can replace the entire gang's horses with different death horses and become **Apocalypse Knights**, or turn all the horses in the game into a real **"Undead Nightmare"**!
• **RARE MODELS INCLUDED**: The mod contains a **single player death horse** that I have never seen myself, as well as a custom bloody version of an **online exclusive, very skinny "dirty backup horse"**.
• **HD Textures**: All "Horse Corpse" models have been given an AI HD texture upgrade, fixing obvious seam issues, and now look great.

**Prerequisites**

• **Lenny’s Mod Loader**: Installed correctly.
• **Online Content Unlocker**: Made by **EnergiDaan**, this is a **must-have tool** for using the assets of this mod.

**Installation steps**

• Place the module’s `lml` folder into your Red Dead Redemption 2 game root directory.
• Select the dead horse file to use based on your needs:
• **Replace Main Horses**: Select a file from the `(Main Horses)` folder and place it into the mod's `PLACE DEAD HORSES INSIDE THIS FOLDER` folder. You can install multiple ones. If you install them all, all the horses in the game will become walking zombies!
• **Replace Special/Gang Horses**: From the `(Special & Gang Horses)` folder, first select the dead horse you want based on the screenshot, then find the specific gang horse or special horse file you want to replace, and put it into the above folder as well.

**IMPORTANT NOTE**

• You can **remove or add** horse files from the `PLACE DEAD HORSES INSIDE THIS FOLDER` folder at any time.
• If you encounter file conflicts, you can use **Lenny’s Mod Manager** to enable/disable this mod, or adjust the mod priority in the manager.
• This mod is **compatible** with other horse texture HD mods, as it only upgrades the textures of online horse corpses and a single-player dead horse.

🎯 Tips for use

• If you have **Rampage Trainer** installed, you can use it to farm the type of horse you replaced the dead horse with. If you replace only one main horse type (e.g. `a_c_horse_tennesseewalker_mahoganybay`) and spawn that horse repeatedly, it will spawn all 17 dead horse variants in order until you spawn the one you want.
