Real Army Uniform Mod
🎖️ Historical background
I redesigned the army uniforms to be closer to their authentic historical appearance. The blue uniform was used in the American Indian Wars and the Spanish-American War, while the khaki uniform was introduced to the U.S. military during the Spanish-American War in 1898, but was not issued to all soldiers. Interestingly, as early as 1884, some soldiers were issued nutmeg canvas uniforms similar to khaki.

💡 Usage suggestions
Players who want to play as a US soldier can use a mod trainer such as Rampage Trainer to switch the player model to mp_male to obtain complete movement and weapon aiming functions. Remember to save your game before switching!
**Rampage Trainer users:**
In-game open the trainer menu > Player > Wardrobe > Model Changer > Search for Peds > Enter mp_male and select in the Human category. From there all the costumes I made (including the poncho and two Boer War outfits) can be selected.
🙏 Special thanks
Thanks to Sergeant Joe for his help with the YMT files and his excellent YMT Helper, YMT Unhasher and Pedestrian Gallery tools!
🔮 Future update plan
- Add more facial, hairstyle and equipment variations
- Add body shape expressions (overweight, thin, average, different neck circumference, abdomen, shoulder width, etc.)
- Add military rank armband logo
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
