Module introduction

This is a script file I made to randomize the weapon and ammo types of most NPCs. I just want the gameplay to be more chaotic and fun! Weapons range from pistols, repeaters, melee weapons, shotguns, rifles, sniper rifles and thrown weapons. NPCs cannot equip online weapons, so these weapons are not included.

Installation method

• Place the two files into the RDR2 root directory (i.e. the folder containing RDR2.exe)
• **Press the F2 key to start** the randomization function
• You can change the hotkey by editing the key number in the Randomizer_Config.ini file

System requirements

• Requires ScriptHookRDR2 V2 (in theory other versions of ScriptHook should also work)
• If possible, test with other ScriptHooks

Known issues

🔴 **Please note the following possible bugs:**

• **Weapons Unlocked Early** - Since the mod attempts to swap almost all weapons, some weapons may be unlocked early in the game (especially if you pick up enemy weapons when you first start the game)

• **Mission Weapon Anomaly** - Weapons obtained through specific missions may malfunction, it is recommended to disable the mod, die and restart the mission in these cases

• **Friendly Fire** - Enemies can use incendiary bombs and explosive ammunition, and friendly NPCs can easily die as a result. While I tried to counteract this by increasing friendly health, it probably wasn't enough and occasionally resulted in mission failures.
