Nou Visuals Revised

🌅 **Bringing a unique stylized visual experience to "Red Dead Redemption 2"**

✨ Module Features

The aim of this mod is to give RDR2 a very unique and stylized look - from turquoise nights to golden middays (inspired by the color style of the PS3 era), Nou Visuals Revised is inspired by the exaggerated colors and atmosphere found in games from the mid-2000s to early 2010s.

🎨New visual effects

This revision contains many updates and changes, including:

  • Changing night brightness
  • Improved lighting effects
  • New custom weather system (like the wind weather effect below!)

🌿 Recommended matching modules

It is strongly recommended to download at the same time:

  • Heart Plains
  • Autumn Vegetation

This module is specially designed to be used in combination with these two modules. Of course, you can also choose not to install it, but it is highly recommended to use it together.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE

**Please note**: This mod **does not** pursue realistic effects, does not imitate real life, and does not respect the original artistic style of RDR2. It's simply a reflection of my personal taste and inspired by vintage video games.

📦 Installation method

  • Place the folder named "NVR" into the LML folder in the RDR2 directory
  • The path must be: lml/NVR/NouVisualsRevised
  • Before installing version 3.0, please delete any old version modules

🎮 **Enjoy this stylized visual feast full of nostalgic feelings! **

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
