No kill lens filter
✨ Features
Remove the color filter from the kill shot in "Red Dead Redemption 2", allowing you to fully appreciate the killing process or the player's heroic posture, and enjoy a clearer visual experience!
🎮 Installation method
Just place the "No Kill Cam Filter" folder into your lml folder.
⚙️ Operation requirements
- Script Hook
- Lenny's Mod Loader
- Enable dynamic kill camera in game camera settings
🔧 Compatibility Notes
If you are using another mod that modifies the cameras.ymt file, please use that mod and open the file with Notepad++, search for `` and replace the entire line with ``.
💡 Notes
- This mod will not remove the filter used by Dead Eye in the kill shot
- You can enable the "Clear Dead Eye" option in the Rampage mod to remove the Dead Eye filter
- The Rampage module also provides a switch option to trigger the kill camera for every kill.
- The honor value will not change because the camera focuses on the player or kills the target. This is just a legend.
- In the original game, the honor value only changed the color of the filter
📝 Update log
**v1.1**
- Found and fixed missing ID lines, possibly caused by file corruption when decompressing with OpenIV
- Hopefully this will resolve the crash issue some users are experiencing when using the main installer package
- Improved compatibility installation method
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
