NCR soldier uniform
🎮 **Join the New California Republic Army, fight against Caesar's Legion, defend the dam, and spend all your money on the Las Vegas Strip! **
✨ Module function
This mod replaces the in-game clothing with NCR soldier armor:
- **Upper Body Armor**: Replace the **Sleeved Buttoned Flannel Shirt** with the **NCR Soldier Upper Body Armor** (one of John's shirts).
- **Lower Body Armor**: Replace the **ugly untucked town trousers** with **NCR soldier trousers** (can be found in the tailor shop in Saint-Denis).
- **Boots**: Replace **Sports Boots** with **NCR Soldier Boots** (can be found in the tailor shop in Saint-Denis).
- **Equipment**: Replace the **Bison Horn Amulet** with **NCR Soldier Equipment** (you can make it directly).
🔮 Future Plans
- **Better Textures**
- **Better UV mapping**
- **More Uniform Variants**
- **NCR Soldier Helmet and Gloves**
- **Reduce mold penetration problems with original parts**
💡 Instructions and Compatibility
This costume works well on the original Arthur and John at any weight. Additionally, the **NCR Soldier Upper Body Armor** should pair well with many of the original trousers, especially if John is the perfect weight.
⚠️ Known issues
Due to a CodeX import issue, there is a situation where the normal map is inverted.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
