🚪 Start moonshine business

After installing the mod, you will get a new quest marker near Valentine Prison, labeled with the letter "C". This is an introductory story mission aimed at rescuing Clint, the bootlegger. To start the mission, players need to have at least $100 to pay for the moonshine camp setup costs.

After rescuing the cook from prison (most likely shooting half the town in the process), you can interact with him and select the location where you want to build your moonshine setup (you can always change this later), which will teleport the player to the newly created camp.

🏕️ Moonshine Camp

In the camp you'll meet guards walking around, as well as Clint (the cook) tending to the moonshine equipment. There will also be an empty carriage there, waiting for delivery of moonshine exports (more on this later). To access the main features of the mod, you need to enter the main tent, where you can manage your moonshine business, spend another $100 to change your current location, or start a sabotage mission.

🍶 Making the first batch of moonshine

Red Dead Online players will feel right at home thanks to a process heavily inspired by RDO's Moonshiner character. For those players who have not been exposed to the online component of rdr2, I will explain it to you in simple language.

You need two things to make a batch of moonshine (and make a profit from it). First you select your mash (which is essentially the base of the alcohol). The thicker the mash, the better moonshine you can make, but it will take longer to prepare. And then we also have flavorings. While it's possible to sell a batch without flavoring, it's much more profitable to sell a batch with great flavor! Unlike mash, flavorings require the addition of specific ingredients. In the menu you can see all the requirements and once you have them all, after selecting the flavor recipe you will be prompted to put the ingredients into the still. To do this, exit the "Moonshine Business" menu and go to the still marked with a gold mark. There you can use special prompts to place ingredients (and see cool animations!!). If the mash is prepared and the flavoring ingredients are present, all you need to do is wait for the batch to be brewed.

📦 Selling moonshine

When the flavors are ready and the entire 20-gallon batch is brewed, you can approach the wagon located in your camp to begin the delivery mission. Tasks include carefully transporting a wagon loaded with moonshine to the buyer. The more deliveries you complete, the higher the law enforcement awareness level will be, which will cause law enforcement officers to start attacking your shipments and setting up ambushes. Rival moonshiners will also try to steal your moonshine. They'll do this by intercepting your deliveries or even raiding your camp!

🎯 Sabotage Mission

While growing your moonshine business, you also need to develop your own "brand." Completing diverse missions increases your influence, thereby reducing the chance of being ambushed, and (in an upcoming update) increasing the price of moonshine sales.
