Install & use Install: game save (not a mod)
- This is someone else's game progress save, not a mod: it needs no mod loader and does not go into a mods folder.
- Back up your own save first, then unzip the downloaded save and copy it into the game's save folder (overwrite matching files).
- Saves are usually tied to a game version: the wrong version may fail to load, and some saves also need the matching DLC or progress.
- Launch the game and confirm the save appears under Load Game; restoring your backup undoes the change.
Red Dead Redemption 2 saves: Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\ (inside the ProfileID folder).
