MERGED GUN METALS MOD
🎯 Module introduction
This mod is the perfect fusion of two of my favorite gun metal texture mods! Since I couldn't decide between Alsharad's Gun Metal Rework and praiseaidan's Realistic Worn Gun Metals, I decided to combine the best metal textures of both into one mod.
🔧 Installation method
Simply place the file into the lml folder in your RDR2 home directory (where rdr2.exe is located).
✨ Metal material source
- **Steel**: Gun Metal Rework from Alsharad
- **Nickel Silver**: Realistic Worn Gun Metals from praiseaidan
- **Blue Metal**: Gun Metal Rework from Alsharad
- **Black Metal**: Realistic Worn Gun Metals by praiseaidan
- **Brown Metal**: Tempered steel from online (added by me)
- **Brass**: Realistic Worn Gun Metals from praiseaidan
- **Silver**: Gun Metal Rework from Alsharad
- **Gold**: Gun Metal Rework from Alsharad
🙏 Thanks
Full credit for all metal materials goes to praiseaidan and Alsharad, I just replaced some entries in the pbrweaponsurfaces file and added the tempered steel material from online.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
